FAQ

  • Okay, so I pre-ordered... now what?
Once we receive your payment, we'll send you a quick update via text or email about your order’s progress. Just a heads-up, ETA's can be a bit of a wild card, but rest assured, we'll be doing our best to get your stuff to you as quickly as possible.
  • How do I pick out the right compound bow for me?
Picking out the right compound bow is an important decision that requires some research and consideration. Here are some key factors to keep in mind: 1. Draw length - This is the distance between your bow hand and the string when the bow is fully drawn. To determine your draw length, measure your arm span and divide it by 2.5. This will give you a good estimate, but it's always best to have a professional measure you to ensure accuracy. 2. Draw weight - This is the amount of force required to pull the bowstring back to your anchor point. The draw weight you choose will depend on your physical strength and shooting ability. A good rule of thumb is to start with a lower draw weight and work your way up as you become more comfortable and proficient. 3. Axle-to-axle length - This is the distance between the two axles on the bow. A longer axle-to-axle length will provide more stability and accuracy, while a shorter length will make the bow more compact and maneuverable. 4. Brace height - This is the distance between the grip of the bow and the string when the bow is at rest. A shorter brace height will make the bow faster but less forgiving, while a longer brace height will make the bow slower but more forgiving. At Boone Archery, we have a wide selection of compound bows from top brands like PSE, Elite, and Bear. We can help you find the perfect bow to fit your needs and budget. • Do pre-orders and special orders really take 10 weeks to come in?
No, not always. A large number of items are held in our Canadian warehouse and they will typically be received and shipped out within a day or two. However, with the large variety of bows and equipment available, it is simply impossible to stock all the items one may be interested in purchasing. For example, Elite bows come in 15 different colour options, 6 different limb options and 2 dexterities - that equals 228 different variations of just one bow. Now they've released 3 different premium hunting bows for 2024. PSE offers a plethora of different draw weights, cam shapes, colours and designs... you get the idea!
